How do I set the order that search engines appear in within the Rankings Tab?

Last Updated: Jun 28, 2013 02:57PM BST
By default when you monitor more than one search engine, Trackpal will list them alphabetically in the Rankings tab.  Therefor you can set the order they appear by renaming them and adding a number before their name.

For example the default alphabetical ordering will list these two search engines in the order:

Google Australia
Google UK
Google US

Renaming these to "1: Google US" and "2: Google UK" and "3: Google Australia" will allow them to be ordered:

1: Google US
2: Google UK
3: Google Australia

To rename a Trackpal search engine job follow these steps:

  1. Go to Trackpal > Projects > Select Project > Under the Jobs tab, select the Search Engine Job you would like to rename.
  2. Under Tasks on the right select Rename job.
  3. Rename your search engine jobs with a number before them, to set their order.
  4. Click Save.
