Update Data Source Login Details

If Trackpal has a problem authenticating with a third party data source that requires login details (such as Google Analytics, Facebook etc), data will no longer be able to be collected until the login details are updated.

To update the details, follow these steps:

  1. On the Trackpal tab in Excel, click on Data Source Logins under the Account Management group.
  2. Click on the relevant login from the list, and click Edit under Tasks on the right.
  3. If this service uses OAuth, click on the Authenticate & Connect Account button and follow the instructions below:
  4. A web page will now load taking you to the OAuth login screen. 
  5. Follow the prompts to authenticate with the service.
  6. Click OK to save the details.


If this service requires your username and password details, follow the instructions below:
  1. Enter the username and password in the boxes provided.
  2. Click OK to save the details.

After doing this, you will shortly receive an email informing you that Trackpal has access again. Any scheduled jobs that are dependent on this login will run and the data will be collected.
